The first ever war was fought in Heaven, the losers were cast down into Hell, and are held there by The Barrier. The next war will be fought in between Heaven and Hell on Earth, Hell just has to open a hole in their prison. Fighting against them will be XJKL and Talion. Two dead men who were each given angelic powers. While they try to control their power, men with magic on Earth, and demons in Hell, will try to rip open the Barrier. If that weren't enough, their presence on Earth weakens the barrier and agents of Heaven have vowed to remove that weakness.

Background:

Born in the Dark Ages to a poor landless man Talion eventually became a man at arms for a local Lord. He was knighted on the field of battle for heroism shown by taking a sword blow meant for his liege during a battle. He survived the wounding. Sir Talion served the Lord who knighted him until his death years later. This is where his story begins. He waited outside the gates of Heaven for over a millennium reluctant to enter. His encounter with a recently dead youth had drastic results. After being drawn to clasp hands with this boy the two were ejected from outside the gates of Heaven in an explosion of power. The two now have Heavenly power that they will use to keep Hell in check.
