Raised by his mother in a remote villiage this healer was taught the sword by a foreign exile. He was content to remain in his region until his mother was bonded years ago by a demon. The demon linked with her and continually feeds off her life force. His mother yet lives but faces each day in a hell devised by the demon. Heath has traveled all over the Demense searching for the one demon... seeking to end his mother's torment.
 
         

Leila

Caputured by Slavers this jungle girls was branded the property of the Demon Phyrric, until she escaped with the aide of Heath. Now they both run for their lives as Slavers attempt to recapture her and kill the human who helped her to escape. She is running for safety but her primary concern is to be free to go home.

 
         
 

Reth

Reth is an orphaned jungle cat who befriended Liela at a young age, when he was little more than a kitten. However there was never anything little about Reth. While he rivals the size of most big cats he is still only in the adolescent stage and will be larger still when his full growth is upon him. Only Quadros knows why Reth is so Unique.

         

Quadros

Demon Familiar to Phyrric he acts as the right hand of evil. While Heath's mother is harmed by the bonding with a Demon, Quadros actually gains strength through his demon master. In exchange for this strength Quadros completes tasks for the Demon, serving as his eyes and ears throughout his Demense. He has been willingly touched by Evil, forever changing him into something other than Human.

With brutality and fear his Tyranny sustains

His stranglehold tightens till we can't gain a breath

Secretly we pray to the gods that they send
